Dear Lord...

When will my mom stop taking naked pitures of me?

Rocket Man...

Andrew came home from UofA for spring break and made a new best friend. Zane would not leave Andrew's side. First thing in the morning before I was up, he would go up to Grammy's house and get Andrew. Andrew even passed the Wal-mart test. (Zane never lets anyone but me push the cart, while until now.)
Andrew brought some rockets to build and Zane was right there with him to build them. I am not sure if it was more of a help or a hindrance, however, Andrew was very patient with him.
Launch day...

I love this picture of Garrit, if you listen close you can hear him making rocket sounds.
We all head over to the baseball field to launch the rockets. All 3 kids had a blast. They had so much fun counting down, watching to see how high they went, and chasing the down.
Thanks, Andrew. You made some great memories for my boys and me.
I guess little brothers aren't so bad when the grow up.

Being home, I find so much joy in the simple things in life. Like a ordinary Saturday on the farm. Kids playing with chickens, Andrew giving horseback rides, Clay working on the chicken coop, Symen and Jim working on a project, and Mom just helping out. And no day is complete on the farm without taking the Land Cruiser up and over the manure pile.
Life is good.

Krew's 1st haircut....

Before, I had a dark hair little guy....

After, a blond tank.
It was time for a little trim on the comb-over, however, my good friend Kathi, advised me to shave it and let it grow out evenly. After we cut his hair, we laughed hard for a good 5 minutes. I was not sure if I wanted to cry or just laugh. I no longer see my little guy, I going to need some adjustment time. But I swear the kids gained 10 pounds with one hair cut.

5 months...

Man alive, time goes by fast. It seems like I just posted about me at 4 months.
I did it, I finally rolled over last week. I am not sure what the big deal is, because I don't like being on my tummy. My mom has to come flip me back over.
My favorite things...
Play with my toes.
Grab anything and everything. I especially like those things on my grandma's face.
To be tickled.
My jumper, a guy gotta get his work out.
When people talk to me.
Talking.
and last but not least, my mom.
All is good and I am very happy little guy, well, until the sun goes down. When it gets dark all I want is my mom to hold me until I am ready to go to bed at 10. Mom says she is going to break me of that habit, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
Well until next month.
Love,
Krew

Zane in Mom's eyes.
I have always said this about Zane, when he was born and I looked into his eyes for the first time he had so much spirit in them. Three years later, he is still full of spirit.
Zane has a strong will and is always willing to tell it how it is. I was setting up his slide and I went into ask Symen a question, honestly I forgot about the slide. Zane comes in with his hands on his hips, "MOM, wheren't you suppose to be doing something." He also wants things done exactly his way. If he is talking to Symen and I try to answer I get, "Mom, I was talkin to Dad."
Zane is Mr. Personalty and everyone friend. He is always smiling and laughing. He loves to play by himself or with the older kids. I love that when he knows he is in trouble, he gives me the cheesiest smile. Because by flashing his big eyes and silly grin, he "thinks" he gets away with it. I have to admit, he usually does. I have a feeling those big eyes are going to get me into big trouble when he is a teenager. Zane, is a mama's boy and I love it. I often look at him and just want to sweep him up in my arms as squeeze him.

Zaner, you can light up a room with your smile.
I love you Buddy.
