Father's Day...

On Father's Day weekend, Symen planned a fun weekend in Rexburg for us and Justin's family. We went to see his project, his office, and to go to the annual airshow. We had a great time.

After our 4 hour drive we stopped at the park, so the kids could get their wiggles out.

Garrit was being silly,

Emilee loved swinging,

and Zane thinks he is as big as the rest of them.

the kids had fun, until we tried to take a group picture.

After the park we went to feed the fish and we went up to Mesa Falls.

On Saturday we all went to the airshow. The kids enjoyed watching the stunt planes and dad just had fun.

We had a great
weekend. It was a lot of fun just spending time with the family.

A weekend with the the VanderLinden's!

Last weekend the VanderLinden's (Justin, Miriam, Jaycie, and Cole) came up to Heber. We had dinner at home then hit the Dairy Keen for shakes. We spent the night at the cabin and Justin and JR took the older kids for a quad ride in the morning. Miriam and I took the younger boys and went to the neighborhood garage sale/craft fair. We all meet up later in the afternoon for lunch and trains rides at the park. JR did not fit in the seat, however, he made it work so Zane could go for a ride also. The girls got their face painted and all the kids got snow cones. It was a fun weekend hanging out with our cousins. We are having a great time getting to know the all of the cousins.

Making or Eating Cookies?

One of Garrit's favorite things to do is cook. It is almost a grantee that Sunday afternoon we are baking. His favorite things to bake are chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. He also loves to help me cook dinner. Last week he made Chicken Parmesan with me. I love spending time with him in the kitchen.

Planting flowers!

The kids are very excited to plant this summer, however, mom has no idea what she is doing. So, we made a craft. The kids painted their pots and planted some flower seeds in them. And hopefully, with a little sun, water, and a whole lot of prayer the kids will grow some flowers.

We will all wait and see....
